Bessie
Wes was blessed to be asked to play the part of James Black in Morning Star Production's 2009 film, Bessie, which tells the story behind the Hymn, When the Roll is Called Up Yonder. This was his first time acting in a movie; a radically different experience from performing on stage. It was one of the most challenging, fullfilling and just plain fun experiences of his life.
